Shipping and Handling Terms for Thrive Art Galley

 

1. Artist Responsibility:

 

  • Each artist on our platform is responsible for the shipping and handling of their artwork once sold. This includes packaging, return label, insurance, and delivery to the buyer.

 

2. Shipping Costs:

 

  • Shipping costs are determined by the artist and are included in the total price of the artwork unless stated otherwise. Buyers should review the total cost before completing their purchase.

 

3. Packaging:

 

  • Artists must ensure that the artwork is packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using appropriate materials for the value and fragility of the piece.

 

4. Shipping Method:

 

  • Artists choose the shipping method and carrier. We always select a method that balances cost with reliability and speed, keeping the buyer's expectations in mind.

 

5. Delivery Times:

 

  • Delivery times can vary based on the artist's location, the buyer's location, and the chosen shipping method. 

 

6. Tracking Information:

 

  • Once shipped, artists must provide buyers with tracking information if available, to keep them updated on the shipment's progress.

 

7. Insurance:

 

  • We strongly advise artists to insure artworks during shipping, especially for high-value items. The cost of this insurance should be included in the price of the artwork.

 

8. Damage or Loss in Transit:

 

  • In the event of damage or loss during shipping, the artist is responsible for handling insurance claims or offering a refund in accordance with Thrive Art Gallery policies.

 

9. International Shipping:

 

  • For international orders, artists must handle customs documentation and be aware of import duties and taxes which are the responsibility of the buyer.

 

10. Returns Policy:

 

  • Let us know you’d like to return within 14 days from the date you receive your artwork. A return shipping label comes with each piece we ship.  As soon as the artwork is received, we’ll promptly issue your refund.

  • Should issues arise with shipping or handling, buyers should contact Thrive Art Gallery directly. We can assist in facilitating communication with the artist if necessary.

 

12. Disclaimer:

 

  • Thrive Art Gallery is not liable for any delays, damages, or losses that occur during shipping as this process is managed by the individual artists.
